Kids Craft: Snowman Popper
Make a fun snowman popper to enjoy indoors
YOU WILL NEED:
- White paper cup
- Scissors
- White balloon
- White duct tape
- Various paper, ribbon and buttons
- Glue
- Small white and blue pompoms
Note: Adult help and supervision are required for some steps.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. With adult help, cut the bottom out of the paper cup by cutting around the bottom edge. Cut the top off the balloon. Tie a knot in the bottom of the balloon.
2. Using white duct tape, tape the balloon onto the bottom of the cup.
3. Gather decorations to decorate the cup as a snowman: Cut out a nose and eyes, add buttons and use ribbon to form a scarf.
4. Attach embellishments to the cup with glue.
5. Place several pompoms inside the snowman, then pull down on the balloon knot and release to “pop out” the pompoms. Pick up the pompoms, reload the snowman and repeat!
