Mini Baklava Bites

Ingredients
- 15-ounce package mini phyllo cups, such as Athens brand
- 1 cup finely chopped nuts, equal parts pistachios, walnuts and almonds
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/4 cup honey, plus more for drizzling
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest, optional
- pinch of kosher salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

Place the mini phyllo cups onto a small-rimmed baking sheet.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the chopped nuts, melted butter, honey, cinnamon, orange zest (if using) and salt until nicely combined.

Spoon about two teaspoons of the prepared nut mixture into each phyllo cup, filling them two-thirds full. You may have some filling left over.

Bake, uncovered, for 10 to12 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly puffed at the center of each bite.

Drizzle with extra honey before serving.
