Amaizing Kansas Corn Mazes To Experience This Fall
The first official corn maze opened in Pennsylvania in 1993, and over the years, dozens of Kansas farmers have adopted the fall tradition of cutting wide pathways through their fields.
Part of the fun of meandering through a corn maze is working with friends or family to reach the endpoint. From simple patterns to elaborate designs best viewed from above, each corn maze has one purpose: for you to enjoy the journey — even if you get lost for a moment.
A & H Farm
Manhattan
A & H Farm was keeping a secret, and now they want everyone to know it. This year, the farm includes the Get Lost With Dolly: 9 to 5 Corn Maze. The Manhattan farm is one of only 20 farms across North America chosen to participate in a campaign with ticket sale proceeds donated to a local Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The tribute maze with Dolly trivia stops to test your knowledge of the beloved country star is available to explore through Nov. 1. A second corn maze, a tribute to America 250, doubles the fun.
On Friday Nights at the Farm through October, visitors can explore both mazes after dark using flashlights from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Attendees who want to explore all the fall festival activities at the farm will need to purchase a ticket, and a separate ticket is required for nighttime festivities. Annual pass members get in free to night events as well.

Klausmeyer Dairy Farm & Pumpkin Patch
Clearwater
The five-acre corn maze at Klausmeyer Dairy Farm & Pumpkin Patch is considered one of the largest in the greater Wichita area. This year, its design celebrates America 250 with a flag motif and bonus activities, including the Corn Bag Toss and Corn Pit.
After navigating through the corn maze, visitors can select a pie-sized jack-o'-lantern at the pumpkin patch, open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Nov. 1. On weekends, the farm turns into a choose-your-own-adventure playground for the family, with activities offered through tiered package pricing.

The challenging maze is open to walk every day of the week, but unfortunately, the community garden is not available this year.
Chism Pumpkins from Beloit will set up a selection of you-pick seasonal pumpkins, squash and gourds in all sizes and colors on Oct. 10.
