Jason Probst
Jason Probst represents the 102nd District in the Kansas House of Representatives, serving on the House Commerce, Labor, and Economic Development and Agriculture Committees. He also is a member of the Kansas Geological Survey Advisory Committee, and the Governor’s Council on Travel and Tourism. He also serves as the Executive Director for Circles of Hope - Reno County, and is Vice-Chair of the Biking Across Kansas board.
Prior to serving in the Kansas Legislature, Probst worked as a designer, reporter, and eventually led the editorial team at The Hutchinson News. The staff won numerous awards for reporting on local and state government, environmental issues, investigative stories, as well as agricultural and community journalism.
Probst has a Bachelor of Science in Management from Baker University, and an Associate of Arts degree from Hutchinson Community College.
Jason has two children, Erica and Mitchell, and two grandchildren, Lila and Violet.
