Pressure Cooker Warm Quinoa Bowls
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup quinoa
- pinch of kosher salt
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- vanilla yogurt
Instructions
Place quinoa, salt, cinnamon and 1 cup water (water is replacing the milk used in the stove top recipe) into pressure cooker pot; lock lid into place and choose high setting; set timer for one minute. When timer sounds, use a natural release for 10 minutes, then a quick pressure release to release any remaining pressure. Remove lid carefully and fluff quinoa with a fork. To serve, divide warm quinoa between four bowls and top with yogurt; serve at once.
For added flavor and a nutritional punch, add fresh fruit and/or nuts.
