Celebrating Kansas farm history, the Oakley Corn Festival and Kansas State Cornhusking Contest offers an abundance of fun activities for the entire family. General admission is free, and most events take place at the Buffalo Bill Cultural Center in Oakley, Kansas. Read the full story here.

Cornhusking Contest

Rural Life Demonstration Vendor Fair, including live demonstrations on rope making, wheat weaving, crocheting, homemade ice cream and more, plus antique tractors on display 

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Girls’ Day Out Craft Show and Open House, Logan County 4-H Building and Dick Farmer Arena 

Noon – 2:30 p.m.
Pumpkin Carving/ Decorating Contest
