Christmas in the Hollow is a unique outdoor walk-through Christmas lighting display at Hollow Park in Sedan. Local individuals and businesses transform Hollow Park into a winter wonderland of lights and activities.

Christmas in the Hollow is designed to provide a delightful outdoor event for families to enjoy during the Christmas season. Admission to the event is free, although donations are gladly accepted. Hot cocoa and cider will be provided for all guests, free of charge. Other refreshments may be purchased from vendors. T-shirts, crafts and a collectible Christmas ornament will be available for sale.

Christmas in the Hollow 2024 will officially kick off with a lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 28. Exciting activities are planned for every Saturday evening, from Nov. 30 through Dec. 21. The Hollow will be open to the public to view from 5-8 p.m. through Dec. 31.

Activities for this year’s Christmas in the Hollow include the following events:

• Christmas in the Hollow Lighting Ceremony and Caroling – 11/28 at 6:30 p.m.
• Vendors at the Farm Bureau Meeting Room across from the Hollow – 11/28, 11/30, 12/7, 12/14, 12/21
• Art for Kids at St Charles Schoolhouse – 11/28, 11/30, 12/7, 12/14, 12/21
• Santa Rock Treasurer Hunt – 11/28, 11/30, 12/7, 12/14, 12/21
• Broken Spoke Clydesdales - 11/30, 4-7 p.m., cost is $5/person
• Cookies by the Pound – 11/30, 5-8 p.m.
• Christmas Parade and Santa arrives – 12/7 at 6:30 p.m. (lineup and judging for floats is at 5:30)
• Grinchmas Night – 12/14, 6-8 p.m.
• Santa in the Schoolhouse – 12/21, 5-8 p.m.
• Closing Night – 12/31
