A flavorful healthy snack
Many snacks are chock full of sodium and over time our taste buds can become accustomed to craving more salt.
Instead of hitting the salt shaker, we can sprinkle a small amount of coarse grain salt over a hardboiled egg, top it with hummus or guacamole and finish it off with a curry powder and crushed red pepper for a little kick.
If the kids aren’t a fan of spicy flavors, other dried herbs or spices infuse plenty of flavor without adding any salt.
